How to integrate with LinkedIn

Reach out to founders directly within Landscape

You can now connect your LinkedIn account to Landscape to enable you to reach out to founders of interest directly within Landscape, with pre built outreach templates.

Here is how it is done.


Step 1: Connect Your LinkedIn Account

Head across to Integrations from the Operations page, and when you get there select LinkedIn.

From there, simply click on the Connect Your LinkedIn button.

A new page will open asking you to sign into LinkedIn using your credentials.

ℹ️ On the authentication box, leave the Additional Settings checkboxes as they are.

Once you've connected your account, you will see a "Account successfully added!" message. You can just close this and you will be redirected to Landscape.

and that's it - you've now integrated!

Step 2: Create Outreach Templates

We've made it easy to reach out to founders with pre-built templates. Let's dive into how to create a template message for LinkedIn Outreach.

Start by selecting "Outreach Templates" from the Operations page.

You can now create outreach templates for easy outreach to exciting founders discovered on Landscape.

Give the template a name, and add your message content. You can add variables to your message by clicking on them from the bottom of the hand box to add them into your message content - these will be replaced automatically with the relevant information when you send a connection request to a founder.

If you'd like to standardise outreach messages across your team, check to share the template with all of your team members, they'll then be able to select it when they outreach to founders.

ℹ️ We recommend creating a range of templates to cover different scenarios, for example a founder entering stealth.

Step 3: Start Your Outreach!

We've added a Connect button to each Signal on your feed. When you discover an opportunity that looks exciting, hit the Connect button to open our connection modal.

From here, you can pre load a message from your outreach templates, or, type a custom message, whichever you prefer!

You'll also see a checkbox at the bottom, if you have your CRM connected, leave this checked, and this opportunity will automatically also be sent to your CRM.

If you don't have a CRM integrated, leave the checkbox ticked to save the Signal to the "Saved Signals" section of your triaged signal.

and that's it - you can now use Landscape to effectively outreach to interesting founders on LinkedIn 🪄


Important Considerations

LinkedIn Limits

LinkedIn enforces usage limits on your account, which differ depending on variables including; how active your account is; whether you have LinkedIn Premium, Your Sales Navigator activity, and a few other usage metrics.

Landscape has built safeguarding around how we interact with LinkedIn, to ensure your account stays safe, but it's worth exercising caution with max outreach.

Queue System

When you outreach to a founder, your connection request will be added to a queue. LinkedIn has limits on the number of Connection Requests you can send per day, and once you hit them, they tell you to come back later.

To help you outreach efficiently, we've built a smart queue system that will stay within LinkedIns limits, whilst allowing you to queue as many requests as you wish. Connection requests will then be sent out on sequentially over a period of time that aligns with LinkedIn limits.

For example if you outreach to 100 founders within 1 day through Landscape, but don't have LinkedIn Premium, we will automatically queue those Connection requests to be sent out over 2-3 days to ensure you stay within usage limits.
